Head Coach

Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator

Coach Little is a graduate of Carthage High School and Illinois State University.  He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Freeburg High School under head coach David Bone.  He then went on to be an assistant coach at Carthage High School under head Coach Jim Unruh.  While in Carthage Coach Little was part of two state Championship teams (1999 and 2000). Coach Little has finished his 11 season coaching in Brown County, leading the Hornets to nine straight playoff appearances

Heath Fullerton

A graduate of Aledo High School and Western Illinois University, Coach Fullerton has been with Coach Little for 11 years.  His coaching career started in Aledo as a Jr. High Coach and Scout.  Heath joined the Carthage Blueboy staff in 2000 and helped coach the team to a state championship.  In 2002 Coach Fullerton left Carthage with Coach Little to help get the Hornet program back on track. six of his linemen have made the All State team, while numerous others have received other postseason honors.  Coach Fullerton is also the Strength and Conditioning Coach, helping to improve strength and speed of all our athletes.

Brad Henry
Assistant Coach


Coach Brad Henry is an alumnus of Brown County High School and Saint Louis University.  A member of the staff since 2003, Brad has been a vital part of the football staff.  He assists Coach Grady with breaking down film and he is the defensive spotter in the box during the games.  Brad, the son of former Hornet head coach Jim Henry, works for Timewell Tile.

Offensive Line/Defensive Line

Coach Darren Henry is a graduate of Brown County High School.  A former Hornet football player, Darren joined the Hornet staff in 2004. Working with Coach Fullerton, Darren has helped groom many of our young linemen by giving them more individual attention.  Darren is co-owner of Henry Automotive in Mt. Sterling.
